AEW Collision Live Results (12/09/2023)

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicked off with promos from Ethan Page, Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson, Andrade El Idolo, Claudio Castagnoli, and Eddie Kingston to hype tonight’s big matches.

Eddie Kingston defeated Claudio Castagnoli in a Blue League match in the Continental Classic

Eddie Kingston reverses a rollup on Claudio Castagnoli to secure the pinfall victory.

A video package airs of Jon Moxley’s post-match comments from his match against RUSH on AEW Dynamite. Moxley also hypes up his match against Swerve this coming

Wednesday at Winter is Coming.

HOOK is backstage. Renee Paquette asks HOOK about his issues with Wheeler Yuta. Yuta interrupts and says Renee shouldn’t be wasting time with him and should be talking to an honorable champion. HOOK mentioned that Yuta won that title by kicking Shibata in the nuts. The two men will face off in an FTW Rules match in the near future. No date was announced during the segment.

Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Martinez (w/ Diamante)

Willow Nightingale got Mercedes Martinez with a flash small package to secure the pinfall victory.

Mercedes Martinez and Diamante attack Willow Nightingale after the match. Kris Statlander hits the ring with a chain wrapped around her fist to run Martinez and Diamante off.

Daddy Magic, Cool Hand Ang, and Jake Hager are backstage. Renee tries to ask them about their tag match later tonight, but Hager interrupts upset about Danhausen shoving his hat down his pants. Hager walks off in frustration as Daddy Magic and Cool Hand cut a passionate promo about having a tag match in front of their hometown fans.

Saraya hates true love

Ruby Soho shows up which brings in Saraya and Anna Jay. Saraya yells at everyone and makes them leave. Sarays accuses Soho that she’s gonna turn on her just like Ruby did. Soho tries to plead her case, but Saraya tells her that she’ll be on her own next week when she faces the returning Riho.

A video package airs of Swerve Strickland’s promo following AEW Dynamite last week. Strickland hypes up his match with Jon Moxley this Wednesday.

Wardlow defeated Willie Mack

Wardlow hits Willie Mack with a Last Ride powerbomb to win the match via referee stoppage.

Back-to-back video packages air recapping FTR’s feud with The House of Black and Chris Jericho being attacked by Ricky Starks and Big Bill backstage following AEW Full Gear.

Kenny Omega defeated Ethan Page

Kenny Omega hit Ethan Page with a One-Winged Angel to secure the pinfall victory.

Ethan Page and Kenny Omega shake hands after the match. Omega is attacked on the ramp by Big Bill who hits him with a big boot. Page stumbles up the ramp to force Bill to back off as he checks on Omega.

CJ Perry is backstage. Perry says great things about her client Andrade El Idolo. Miro shows up and questions when the last time was that Perry said those things about him. Perry says he told her to stay home. Miro goes on about what a wife’s place should be and says he won’t touch Andrade during this tournament, but once it ends, he’s coming after him.

Will Julia Hart face Abadon on a future episode of AEW Collision?

A video package airs hyping up the rivalry between Abadon and TBS Champion Julia Hart. A future match between the two women is teased by the commentary team.

Penta El Zero Miedo and Kommander defeated Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang

Penta and Kommander hit a double-team Fear Factor on Cool Hand Ang. Kommander scores the pinfall victory for his team.

A video package airs hyping up the match between Keith Lee and Shane Taylor at Ring of Honor Final Battle.

Andrade El Idolo defeated Bryan Danielson in a Blue League match in the Continental Classic

Andrade El Idolo hits Bryan Danielson with a hammerlock DDT to score the pinfall victory.

Medics, Andrade, and Aubrey Edwards check on Bryan Danielson after the match. Blackpool Combat Club comes out, and Claudio and Andrade get into a shoving match as AEW Collision goes off the air.
