AEW Rampage Live Results (12/23/2022)

All Elite Wrestling will deliver an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on December 23.

Tonight’s show will see a huge Casino Trios Royale take place, along with Eddie Kingston and Ortiz, Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn will take on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, and Jade Cargill will face off against Vertvixen in a TBS Championship Eliminator match.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: Top Flight & AR Fox win $300,000 Three Kings Christmas Casino Trios Royale

In the first match of the night, the big, holiday-themed royale took place, and featured the likes of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Hangman Page, Rush & Dralistico & Preston Vance, Kip Sabian & The Butcher & The Blade, Best Friends & Orange Cassidy, The Dark Order, The Spanish Announce Project, and Ari Daivari & Tony Nese & Josh Woods.

Things came to a hectic close after Top Flight nearly eliminated Castagnoli with a double clothesline, but he managed to stay in the ring. However, the duo was able to counter attacks from Castagnoli and finally eliminate him by turning a powerbomb attempt into a hurricanrana of sorts, throwing him out of the ring.

In-ring segment: Eddie Kingston & Ortiz

In the ring, Kingston and Ortiz said they want a match against House of Black, calling out the group to come to the ring. Malakai Black appeared on the jumbotron, issuing out a cryptic message to the duo and implying that Kingston couldn’t trust Ortiz, causing the two to argue and the segment to end.

Match 2: Jade Cargill defeats VertVixen via pinfall

In a rather quick win in the TBS Championship eliminator tournament, Cargill absolutely dominated VertVixen, eventually winning things by a huge pump kick for the win.

Wardlow promotion

In a brief promo, Wardlow said that Samoa Joe has never pinned or tapped him out to win the TNT Championship, and with that in mind, he’ll take down Joe next week at AEW Dynamite to win the title.

Match 3: Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal defeat Daddy Ass & Anthony Bowens via pinfall

In the final match of the night, it was Jarrett and Lethal that would use some underhanded tactics to walk out on top. Late in the match, Sonjay Dutt — who came down to the ring with Satnam Singh — distracted Bowens, and later gave a low blow to Daddy Ass while the referee wasn’t looking. This allowed Lethal to hit the the Lethal Injection on Ass for the win.
