Andrade El Idolo Pulled From 01/12 GCW Event, Possibly Heading Back To WWE Or Joining TNA


Game Changer Wrestling announced on Monday that Andrade El Idolo has been pulled from an upcoming event.


Andrade was set to face Jonathan Gresham at GCW’s No Compadre event on Friday. In his place, Lio Rush will attend and compete. As of this writing, there is no word on why Andrade was pulled from the show.


GCW No Compadre is currently set to take place on Friday, January 12. Andrade made his debut for GCW during December’s Highest in the Room 2 event, where he defeated Joey Janela. He wrapped up with AEW at AEW Worlds End, and he subsequently confirmed his departure.



Ahead of AEW Worlds End, WrestlePurists reported that Andrade could be WWE-bound. Fans have continued to buzz about a potential return to the company for the former United States Champion. Another possibility could be Andrade will be at TNA's Hard To Kill which is coincidentally on the following day 01/13/2024 live from Las Vegas.
