Bully Ray Finishes Contract With ROH & Is Now A Free Agent

For the past several years, in-ring veteran Bully Ray has called Ring of Honor his home, but that may not be the case going forward. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, his deal with the company has lapsed and he is a free agent. In addition, the company isn’t offering new contracts to any talents during the current global pandemic.

This means that Bully is technically free to talk with other promotions, although it’s unclear why he’d go back to WWE following his most recent run. AEW might be interested, but Bully might not be ready to step into the veteran/managerial role that legends have been placed into in that company.

The current word is that ROH will try to resume things as they were once they’re running shows again, so Bully may get a new deal at that point. He last wrestled for the company this past February, losing to Caprice Coleman at ROH Gateway To Honor 2020. Bully also continues to host Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM.

Bully Ray has also teased a return to IMPACT Wrestling for Slammiversary so that might be in the tables for him. A reunion of Ace's & Eight's with rumored new IMPACT Wrestling singee's Gallows & Anderson, things are certainly looking interesting.
