Pro Wrestling will return to the Murphy Rec Center, where Ring of Honor first premiered back in February 2002 as Combat Zone Wrestling will run the venue today at 1 PM Eastern with "Philly Special."
The main event of the show will see Paul London competing inside the Murphy Rec, where he became a star for Ring of Honor, for the first time in 20 years, challenging CZW Champion Rich Swann.
Also slated for today's event:
*Aerial Assault Match with Kris Bishop, Brando Lee, Shaun Smith and more competing.
*Mickie Knuckles vs. Judge Joe Dredd.
*Vendetta vs. WXW stars Amboss.
*Post Game vs. Milk Chocolate.
*Myles Hawkins vs. Man like Dereiss.
*The Lost Boys vs. Bush Quay and two mystery partners.
*Exess Jr. vs. Matt Viviani vs. Frank Milank vs. Carlos Valderrama.
The Murphy Rec has not hosted professional wrestling since Ring of Honor was forced to exit the facility following a November 2006 event after the PA State Athletic Commission received a complaint about the size of the crowds ROH was bringing to the venue. CZW would be the first promotion, to the best of my knowledge, to run that facility since.
