Kazuchika Okada Signs With AEW

During the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks came out to the ring for two “huge” announcements. After announcing that Hangman Page was suspended and Kenny Omega was fired from The Elite, Eddie Kingston interrupted.

Kingston shared few words before engaging in physicality. Unfortunately, he was double-teamed by Matt and Nick Jackson until Kazuchika Okada’s music hit to a huge pop.

Okada marched down to the ring and ended up hitting Kingston with the Rainmaker clothesline. The Young Bucks then announced that Okada is the newest member of The Elite as he has officially signed with AEW.

Okada was heavily rumored to officially debut on the March 6 episode in Atlanta by Fightful and PWInsider. He recently became a free agent after several years with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Okada has had three AEW matches in the past, with his most recent one taking place in October where he and Orange Cassidy lost to Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson on Dynamite.

Indy Pro Wrestling will provide more details on Okada’s signing as information becomes available.
