Matches Announced For Next Week's AEW Dynamite

AEW has revealed the card for the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite just days before Double or Nothing.

Swerve Strickland will face Nick Wayne ahead of his AEW World title defense against Christian Cage next week. They also have a history with one another, as it was Strickland who bloodied Wayne inside his father’s gym last year.

Hook will meet Katsuyori Shibata and Bryan Keith on Wednesday to determine the next challenger for Chris Jericho. Hook has made it clear he wants the title back, but Jericho told Hook on Wednesday that he would need to prove himself.

Hook was the first to qualify, defeating Johnny TV. As he was making his exit, Shibata entered the ring for his match against Rocky Romero, who he defeated. Keith was the last to qualify, quickly getting a win over Boulder with the diamond dust.

Kyle O’Reilly, who was laid out by the House of Black after attempting to make the save for Adam Copeland, will get a chance to wrestle Malakai Black one-on-one before Black challenges Copeland at Double or Nothing in a barbed wire steel cage match for the TNT Championship.

Bryan Danielson will also face Satnam Singh. On Collision, FTR was laid out by The Righteous & Lance Archer, seemingly by orders of The Elite. Danielson said he would be on Dynamite. Later on Ramapge, Sonjay Dutt revealed that Danielson would face Singh.

Also added to the card is Orange Cassidy and Will Ospreay teaming up to take on Trent Beretta and Roderick Strong, their opponents for Double or Nothing. Toni Storm and Mariah May will face Saraya and Harley Cameron, with both Storm and May scoring wins against Cameron in the last two weeks. Konosuke Takeshita will take on Matt Sydal, and we’ll hear from the Bang Bang Gang while also getting a preview of the TBS Championship match between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone.

Jon Moxley will also be in the building.
