NJPW Announces Capital Collision 2024 Set For August 30


New Japan Pro-Wrestling is returning to Washington, DC.


NJPW announced that they would return to Washington, DC, with the Capital Collision event on August 30. The show will be held at the Entertainment & Sports Arena. Other details were not provided in the announcement.



NJPW Capital Collision 2022 marked the inaugural edition. In the main event, Juice Robinson defeated Jon Moxley, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Will Ospreay to win the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. The 2023 edition was headlined by Aussie Open defeating Motor City Machine Guns and Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi to win the STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship.


As of this writing, no matches have been announced for Capital Collision 2024. Indy Pro Wrestling will provide more information as it becomes available.
