New Japan Pro Wrestling continue the World Tag League on Monday. The show was headlined by last year’s winners, David Finlay & Juice Robinson, getting a tough win over the IWGP Tag Team Champions, Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi. The win made them one-of-six teams with 8 points.
The traffic jam at 8 points was worsened by Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa’s win over Los Ingobernables de Japon. The Tongans beat Shingo Takagi to a bloody pulp before dropping Sanada with Gun Stun. The Empire also picked up a win over EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi, adding them to the 8-point pileup.
Plus Kojima and Honma continued their winning ways, and Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano took the top spot with a hard fought win over Henare & Tanahashi.
