Match Results & Notable In-Ring Moments
Here are the match results plus key spots, finishers, and moments worth noting:
Match | Result | Key Moves / Moments |
Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer & Lyra Valkyria vs Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) | Ripley / Vaquer / Valkyria def. Fatal Influence by pinfall. | A longer match (~13:24) with back-and-forth control. Fatal Influence used their triple-team sequences. At key moment, Ripley hit strong power moves; Lyra Valkyria made impactful offense; Stephanie Vaquer contributed with strong strikes. Final stretch saw Fatal Influence isolate a member-tag-team flow but the trio overcame with big finish pin. |
Women’s Tag Team Championship: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (c) vs The Culling (Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley) | Flair & Bliss retain via pinfall (Bliss’ Sister Abigail on Paxley). | Early on, The Culling tried to mirror Flair & Bliss’s style, using double team moves & isolating tags. Mid-match saw Dame & Paxley get some near-falls. A moment where the official was distracted by a Flair/Dame brawl allowed Bliss to hit Sister Abigail on Paxley for the win. |
Tag Team Match: Trick Melo Gang (Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes) vs #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) | Trick Melo Gang def. DIY. | The match was fast-paced. At one point it looked like Williams might turn on Hayes, but Hayes avoided disaster by leaping over Trick and hitting a clothesline on Gargano. A surprise appearance by The Miz late: he interfered, hit Gargano with a Skull Crushing Finale, which allowed Williams & Hayes to cover Gargano for the win. |
North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs Tyler Breeze | Ethan Page retains via his finisher Twisted Grin. | Breeze made a strong showing, including locking in a Figure-Four Leglock using the ring post for leverage. Breeze also got some momentum up top rope; the finish came when Page climbed up, hit a top-turnbuckle version of Twisted Grin (or from high elevation) to put Breeze away. |
Returns / Surprise & In-Segment Moments
Finn Bálor made his return to NXT with his classic entrance.
On The Grayson Waller Effect talk show segment, NXT Champion Oba Femi and Ricky Saints were guests. They were interrupted by TNA World Champion Trick Williams. A confrontation ensued. Grayson Waller proposed a Winner Takes All match between Oba Femi & Trick Williams for next week, putting both the NXT and TNA Champions on the line. Both men agreed.
Behind the scenes / backstage: some tension shown (camera & promos) between the factions/teams, especially with returning stars. Also build-up for No Mercy (upcoming event) was emphasized.
Implications / Story Progression
With Page retaining over Breeze, Page continues a strong North American Title reign; Breeze’s return increases spotlight on that title picture.
The win by Ripley, Vaquer & Valkyria over current stars like Fatal Influence strengthens their positioning — could foreshadow future betrayals, title opportunities.
Bliss & Flair retaining keeps the women's tag division in the hands of established main roster stars, reinforcing prestige.
The surprise involvement of The Miz in the DIY vs Trick Melo Gang match angles new feuds: DIY already legends in NXT, but this cements the heel side.
The “Winner Takes All” match announced between Oba Femi & Trick Williams for next week sets up a big title unification / story that will likely be central heading into NXT No Mercy.
