Ring of Honor is currently on hiatus. They will return with SuperCard of Honor in Dallas, Texas during WrestleMania weekend but moving forward, they will not be focusing on as many champions as they had at the time of their hiatus.
As first reported by Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live on Monday, January 10, Ring of Honor will only be focusing on its World Championship, Women’s Championship, and Tag Team Championship. Reportedly, this move will see the Six-Man Tag Team Championship, the Television Championship, and the Pure Championship shelved for the foreseeable future.
Ring of Honor just resurrected the Pure Title coming out of a forced hiatus due to the global pandemic. Currently, Jonathan Gresham defends the original ROH World Championship under Pure Rules.
According to Alvarez, the three different titles will continue to be defended in various promotions, and Ring of Honor has the right to air those matches on their weekly TV show, which will reportedly resume in mid-March.
