Samuray Del Sol To Make IMPACT Debut At Chicago Heat Tapings


Samuray Del Sol, formerly known as Kalisto in WWE, is coming to IMPACT Wrestling.


IMPACT announced that Samuray del Sol will compete at their Chicago Heat tapings on July 28 and 29. On the first night, he will team with Black Taurus and Laredo Kid to face Bully Ray, Brian Myers, and Moose. On July 29, the high-flyer will face former IMPACT X-Division Champion Chris Sabin.

Among other matches, IMPACT also announced that The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) will compete at Chicago Heat. They will face the team of Mike Bailey and Jonathan Gresham on July 28. Additionally, Deonna Purrazzo will face KiLynn King on July 29. Plus, Moose will face Kevin Knight on Saturday.


Samuray Del Sol’s Career

Del Sol last wrestled on July 21, when he competed at AAA AAA Verano De Escandalo 2023. In recent months, he has competed for various promotions, including DDT. Del Sol previously wrestled in a one-off match for AEW in 2021.


WWE released the former Cruiserweight Champion in April 2021. Kalisto also won the WWE United States Championship twice during his WWE tenure. Plus, he and Sin Cara won the NXT Tag Team Championship. Kalisto had a memorable run as a member of Lucha House Party alongside Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado.
