For months now, Cody Rhodes has been building towards a match against Shaquille O’Neal. This also involved Jade Cargill, Brandi Rhodes, and Brandi Rhodes’ protege, Red Velvet.
On the most recent episode of Dynamite, Cody Rhodes alluded to wanting to face Shaquille O’Neal and Jade Cargill in a mixed tag team match at AEW Revolution on March 7 but since his wife is pregnant, Cody now needs a new partner and it appears Red Velvet will be stepping up.
Speaking with Sam Fishman, Shaq made it clear that he was not interested in being a part of the Royal Rumble but if Cody Rhodes says one more thing to him or about him, he will enter the ring for AEW.
