Slammiversary Main Event Changed As Mystery Opponent Added To IMPACT World Championship Match
Impact Wrestling has a lot to figure out after Tessa Blanchard was fired as their World Champion. A big Slammiversary main event must now be changed.
It is reported on Fightful that Impact Wrestling will change-up their main event by inserting a mystery partner. The match will now be Ace Austin, Eddie Edwards and Trey Miguel, and a mystery opponent. Obviously, Tessa Blanchard was pulled from the match.
It’s unknown who the mystery opponent will be. All of those recently released Superstars will be available that date. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are already reportedly coming into Impact Wrestling as well.
The company also plans to add a match for the Impact Tag Team Titles. The North will face Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock. Ringside News will have full coverage of Slammiversary.
Health Slater recently teased a jump to Impact Wrestling. Rusev stated that he can neither confirm nor deny his affiliation with the company.
Impact Wrestling ran a commercial that teased virtually every recently released WWE Superstar. Scott D’Amore also revealed that he has been in contact with someone who he didn’t think was previously available.
