Tessa Blanchard Wins The IMPACT Wrestling World Title

At tonights IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill, history was made when The Undeniable Tessa Blanchard became the first female to win the IMPACT Wrestling World Title by defeating THE DRAW Sami Callihan. The program between the two was a long term program that when on for months as the two have been battling it out with each other since July of 2019 when they had their first match at Slammiversary XV II.


As such with previous encounters, the two beat on each other until the finish which saw Tessa hit Callihan with two Canadian destroyers and then a DDT for the victory. Tessa joins a lineage of the greatest champions in IMPACT Wrestling history. Stars such as Ken Shamrock, AJ Styles, Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Bully Ray, Brian Cage, Johnny Impact and many others. What's next for Tess Blanchard though? After her match tonight Taya Valkyrie went to her twitter to announce that she wants next for the IMPACT World Title as she also scored a victory tonight beating OBD and Jordynne Grace to retain her title.
