Trey Miguel Retains X-Division Championship At Rebellion

Elimination Match For X-Division Championship: Trey Miguel (c) vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. Mike Bailey

All three competitors feel each other out early on, and the match is a stalemate. Bailey and Gresham briefly work together and take the fight to the champion. Miguel gains the upper hand as he’s left alone with Gresham. Bailey takes charge with a flurry of offense. Gresham and Bailey go back and forth, as “Speedball” spikes Gresham with a reverse hurricanrana. Bailey dumps Bailey out of the ring with a hurricanrana that sends both wrestlers crashing to the floor. Gresham dives onto Miguel, and Bailey follows him with a dive of his own. Miguel takes Bailey out with a dive. Miguel hits a springboard cutter for a two count. Gresham locks Bailey in a Figure-Four, but Miguel hits him with a Meteora to eliminate him.

Jonathan Gresham has been eliminated.

Bailey and Miguel trade strikes, and both men are down. They keep battling, and they exchange fast-paced offense. Bailey hits the double knees to Miguel’s ribs at ringside. Bailey goes for the Ultimate Weapon, but Miguel evades it. Bailey rolls Miguel up for a two count. Miguel rolls through and pins Bailey, with a handful of tights for extra leverage, to score the win.
