Brace yourselves, Chicago, as the revered rudo luchador, Último Guerrero, steps into the MLW ring for the first time ever at AZTECA LUCHA on Saturday, May 11, at Cicero Stadium.
Hailing from the hallowed grounds of Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Último Guerrero isn't just a wrestler; he's a force of nature. Known as one of the most important luchadores in all of lucha, he has carved his name in the annals of lucha libre.
As notorious as he is successful, Último Guerrero is a vicious rudo. He has dominated the ring as a perennial main eventer, selling out Arena Mexico countless times and etching his name in the pantheon of lucha libre greats.
His name, which translates to "The Last Warrior" in English, embodies the spirit of a fighter who has endured countless battles and emerged victorious time and time again.
From humble beginnings in Gómez Palacio, Durango, Último Guerrero embarked on a journey to Mexico City, the Mecca of lucha libre, mastering his craft and ascending to stardom in CMLL.
Throughout his illustrious career, Último Guerrero has achieved it all. He has held prestigious titles such as the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship, CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship, CMLL World Tag Team Championship, CMLL World Trios Championship, and the CMLL Universal Championship.
As one-half of the legendary tag team alongside Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero formed a formidable duo that dominated the tag team scene, earning them the title of the best tag team of the decade.
Notably, in one of the most monumental lucha matches in of the 21st century, Último Guerrero defeated Villano V in 2009, capturing his mask and solidifying his status as a lucha libre icon.
Despite setbacks, including the unmasking by his arch-rival Atlantis in 2014, Último Guerrero has always risen stronger, fueled by his unyielding passion to be the greatest luchador of all time.
Throughout his illustrious career, Último Guerrero has been a leader both inside and outside the ring, forming and commanding several iconic groups such as "Los Nuevos Infernales" and "Los Guerreros de la Atlántida” and “Los Guerreros Laguneros.”

An institution in fighting for decades, Cicero Stadium is conveniently located 8 miles from downtown Chicago and very close to the Pink Line. You can get to it from both Interstate Highways 290 and 55.
There is stadium seating, which means there is virtually no bad seat in the stadium.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Interstate 290, take the Laramie exit heading South and travel 6 blocks. The Stadium will be on the left and you can find parking both North and South of the venue for only $5. From Interstate 55, take the Cicero exit and head north until 22nd Street. Take a left and then a right on S. Laramie Ave. Travel three blocks to Cicero Stadium and parking is both north and south of the venue for $5.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Take the CTA Pink Line to the last stop (54th/Cermak) going South. The station is located between 54th Avenue and Laramie Avenue, just north of Cermak Rd. Walk two blocks north and you’re at the Stadium.
